The Sacred Hearts museum and gallery occupies De Villeov uspon, between the lower streets of Pula's centre and Kaštel hill. Following restoration, the former church became an exhibition venue, with its lofty interior providing an architectural setting for temporary displays organised by the Archaeological Museum of Istria. It is a useful addition to a route combining Roman sites with an indoor museum visit. For autumn 2026, the venue lists “Trakošćan – Three Foundations of Power” from 10 September to 29 November. The exhibition brings the subject of a Croatian castle into a historic Pula building, separate from visits to the Arena or Small Roman Theatre.
