Kašjuni Beach lies below the southern slopes of Marjan, west of Split's historic centre and the Meštrović Gallery. The bay is framed by the greenery of the Marjan peninsula, giving it a different character from the urban sandy beaches at Bačvice and Firule. The shore is predominantly pebbly, and access is via Šetalište Ivana Meštrovića by road or a combination of walking and local transport. Its setting makes Kašjuni a good option for swimmers who want sea and Marjan scenery without leaving Split. In summer, arriving earlier is sensible because usable space in the bay is limited during the busiest parts of the day.
