Žnjan lies between Trstenik and Duilovo and is one of the main open waterfront spaces in eastern Split. The area underwent a major redesign during 2024 and 2025 and reopened in summer 2025. The new plateau combines swimming with a broad range of recreation: multi-sport courts, a skate park, table tennis, children’s play areas, an outdoor gym, beach volleyball, a cycle path and an amphitheatre. An accessible beach section for people with disabilities is also included. Žnjan therefore works particularly well when you want to spend several hours by the sea rather than simply stop for a quick swim.
