St Joseph’s Church forms part of Knin’s Catholic sacred heritage and is associated with the Šimić family. The city’s development strategy states that it was already mentioned in the 18th century and that the Brotherhood of the Good Death gathered there. The building had become so dilapidated that it was demolished in 1893–94, then rebuilt in 1912–13. Croatia’s Ministry of Culture records the church as an 18th- and 19th-century structure and separately lists its late-19th-century altar of St Joseph. It makes a quiet stop for visitors exploring Knin’s churches and the layers of the town’s local history.
