The Parish Church of St. Elijah in Metković was built between 1867 and 1870 according to engineer Juraj Marocochi's design, replacing an earlier 1700 structure at the same location. It features a Latin cross floor plan with three naves separated by columns and arches, decorated stone facade with a rose window, pilasters, and blind arcading. A 35-meter bell tower was erected in 1872 with a clock added in 1875. The church was consecrated in 1930 and contains five marble altars, including the main altar with a wooden sculpture of the Risen Christ created by the Bilinić workshop in Split between 1878 and 1918.
