Ambrela is on the Verudela peninsula, a few kilometres south of central Pula. Its main bathing area is covered with pale pebbles and offers a gradual entry into the sea, while rocky sections continue around the sides of the bay and are suitable for exploring with a mask and snorkel. Pine trees immediately behind the shore provide natural shade, and showers, changing facilities and seasonal services are available. Parking is found in the wider Verudela area, followed by a short walk to the water. Ambrela particularly suits families with children and swimmers who prefer easy sea access, while still offering rocky edges for casual snorkelling.
