Built in 1594 by the married couple Frane and Katarina Dragač as a votive offering, the Church of St. Nicholas on Čiovo reflects personal devotion and gratitude. The stone structure, oriented north-south, features a double-pitched roof, a bell tower on a support structure, and a semicircular apse at the southern end. The façade displays characteristic openings—narrow doors and windows on the northern wall, while above the apse stands a narrow pointed window with a blind pointed arch above it. A pre-Romanesque sculptural element in the form of a gable above the dedication plaque represents a detail of exceptional cultural significance, preserving early medieval heritage.
