Our Lady of Mount Carmel stands in Pasika, the western part of Trogir’s historic centre. The present church was built in 1618 on the site of an older one, with a rectangular plan and a square apse. Its east-facing façade combines a stone portal, rose window and gently curved gable, while a bell tower rises over its right-hand side. Inside, the high altar holds Konstantin Zane’s 1658 painting of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, alongside an older gilded wooden altar with the Virgin and Child. The church also remains part of Trogir’s living devotional calendar: the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is marked by a procession along the waterfront to the church.
