Located at St. Jacob's Square, the Church of St. Jacob was built in 1708, replacing an earlier chapel that had served the community during the medieval period. The carefully dressed stone construction with internal plaster finishing demonstrates superior craftsmanship. The façade showcases Baroque features including a characteristic portal, rose window, and a transom on two arches, lending the church elegant proportions. The three interior altars—the main altar dedicated to the Holy Cross, the northern to St. John of Trogir, and the southern to the Virgin Mary—reflect the rich iconographic tradition of the church.
