Kaštel Pavla Cipika is an independent fortress built in 1512 in Kaštel Novi when Venetian authorities permitted Trogir nobleman Pavel Cipiko to construct a castle and settlement beside the Church of St. Peter of Klobučac. The tower features a regular square ground plan with ground floor and three stories topped by crenellations. Built with loopholes and cannon openings reflecting early firearms use, the fortress displays a balcony and characteristic "sea gates" typical of Kaštela castles on the southern façade. A settlement formed around the fortress, enclosed by defensive walls with corner towers and populated by refugees from Špiljani and Žestinja.
