Kaštel Štafileo is a fortress built by Stjepan Štafileo, a Trogir nobleman of Cretan origin, between 1500 and 1508. The structure features a rectangular floor plan with residential quarters on the south side and a courtyard to the north, with a tall rectangular tower on the central axis of the north wall. Founder Štafileo organized a planned settlement with defensive walls and corner towers, populated by refugees from Bijaća. Archaeological excavations uncovered stone components of olive-processing equipment and original stone flooring. The castle is registered as protected cultural heritage (Z-3252) and classified as a residential building located at Obala kralja Tomislava 10 in Kaštela.
