Church of Our Lady of the Rosary

The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary was built in phases from 1871 to 1939, when it reached the cornice height, and completed in 1971. Designed by Vicko Danilo in Neob Baroque style, the single-nave building features a rectangular floor plan with polygonal apse, oriented north-south. The façade is articulated with stone pilasters, constructed from properly dressed bluish stone. A bell tower is attached to the eastern side of the apse, with a rectangular sacristy on the west. The interior is divided into three naves. The parish of Kaštel Stari celebrates the feast of their patroness, Our Lady of the Rosary, on the first Sunday in October.
