Okrug Gornji is the largest resort settlement on the western side of Čiovo and the centre of the Municipality of Okrug, immediately across the bridges from Trogir. It is strongly oriented toward seaside holidays: the main Toć beach stretches for about two kilometres and, with its promenade, restaurants, bars and sports facilities, is locally known as the “Copacabana of Okrug”. Quieter alternatives include Mavarčica, Milićevo, Kuzmića, Vela Draga and Labadusa. Okrug is only a few kilometres from Trogir and about eight kilometres from Split Airport, making transfers relatively easy. The tourist board is at Bana Jelačića 15, and the village has a pharmacy and basic daily services. The combination of a long coastline, close access to Trogir and a network of small Čiovo coves is the destination’s strongest advantage.
