Church of St. Andrew crowns Balan hill on Čiovo island, commanding views across Trogir waters. This single-nave structure features a semicircular apse and Romanesque arched doorway with stone reliefs flanking the entrance. The older section preserves stone vaulting, while the Renaissance-era addition employs wooden roof construction. Early Romanesque foundations underlie later 16th-century modifications including facade reconstruction. A 7th-century stone altar remains at the sanctuary's center, testament to centuries of continuous worship. Protected as sacred architectural heritage (Z-4902).
