Straško Beach occupies a broad bay south of central Novalja and is closely linked with the large campsite of the same name. The shoreline runs for roughly 1.5 kilometres; after a short rocky entry, swimmers reach a sandy seabed. Pine and evergreen oak woodland grows immediately behind the coast, offering welcome shade in hot weather. Restaurants, sports facilities and family-oriented services are distributed along the seafront, giving Straško a more organised character than Pag’s quieter natural coves. It works particularly well for visitors who want to spend most of the day by the water without repeatedly returning to town for food, shade or activities.
