Zrće

Zrće is a broad pebble beach southeast of Novalja, around two kilometres from town. Its pebbly entry soon gives way to deep water because the seabed drops steeply, an important consideration for families with young children and less confident swimmers. The shore combines water-sport and recreation facilities, food and drink venues, and large open-air clubs, making it a major summer draw for festival audiences and nightlife seekers. There is a large arranged car park, while seasonal public transport links the beach with Novalja. The Novalja Tourist Board states that Zrće has held Blue Flag status since summer 2003.
