Holy Annunciation Orthodox church

The Orthodox Church of the Holy Annunciation stands on Od Puča, south of Stradun and within Dubrovnik’s walls. Its interior and icon collection introduce the Orthodox strand of the city’s religious heritage, distinct from the nearby Catholic churches of St Blaise and the Assumption. The museum collection associated with the complex includes icons, portraits and objects belonging to the church community. A visit fits naturally into a walk along Od Puča and onwards towards Gundulić Square. Another, Catholic chapel near the Dominican monastery also bears the Annunciation dedication; the Orthodox complex is identified by its Od Puča 8 address.
