Crkva Navještenja

The Annunciation chapel is one of the smaller religious buildings on the route towards Ploče Gate and the Dominican monastery. Its position between the monastic buildings and city walls reveals how Dubrovnik’s eastern edge combined defence with places of worship. This is the Catholic chapel, distinct from the Orthodox church with the same dedication on Od Puča. A short exterior visit can be linked with St Luke’s Church, the passage towards Ploče and the stone bridge beside Revelin.
