The Zagreb Cathedral Chapter Palace at 2 Draškovićeva Street was built between 1760 and 1763 on the site of an earlier house. Construction was led by Anton Maričnik, builder to the Ludbreg estate, with local craftsmen undertaking much of the work. Though compact in scale, its façade is a fine example of mature Varaždin Baroque: a central projection rises into a voluted gable and a carved-stone portal marks the entrance. An upper-floor hall retains stucco ceiling decoration. The palace forms part of the historic core and is best viewed from outside while walking between King Tomislav Square and the Old Town.
