Đulin ponor lies beside Ogulin Old Town, where the surface course of the Dobra River vanishes below steep rock faces. Formed at the contact between Jurassic dolomite and Cretaceous limestone, its water re-emerges after an underground journey near Gojak as the Gojačka Dobra. Together with Medvedica Cave, the sinkhole forms an extensive cave system measuring 16,396 metres. From the town edge, visitors can take in the canyon, the swallow hole and its cliffs; the site is also tied to the legend of Đula, or Zulejka. It is a striking stop for walkers interested in karst landscapes and Ogulin folklore.
