Practical information

Getting there and around

Lipovljani has its own interchange on the A3 Zagreb–Lipovac motorway, opened on 15 June 2018 with ramps towards both Zagreb and Novska. Its railway station lies on the electrified Zagreb–Novska–Slavonski Brod–Vinkovci main line, making the train a useful alternative to driving into the settlement. HŽ Passenger Transport’s 2025/2026 timetable remains valid until 12 December 2026 and was amended several times during the year, so travellers should check their chosen departure date. A car or bicycle is more practical for reaching the Tena Trail, Piljenice and the Lipovljani edge of Lonjsko Polje, as these sites lie beyond the town centre.
