About
Jankovac Forest Park lies within Papuk Nature Park, in a mountain valley shaped by woodland, streams and small lakes. Its main walking route is the roughly 2.5-kilometre Count’s educational trail, named after Count Josip Janković. It leads from the mountain lodge past the Jankovac lakes to Skakavac Waterfall, which drops 35 metres over a tufa cliff. Interpretation panels along the way introduce the valley’s natural and cultural history. Jankovac suits visitors looking for a compact walk combining beech-forest shade, lakes and a striking waterfall in the hills of Slavonia.
