Grujica Lighthouse was built in 1872 on the south-western side of the islet of Grujica, on the approach to Kvarnerić. The station includes a 15-metre square stone tower and a ground-floor building, together with a storehouse, engine room, two piers, a boat hoist and a boat shelter. Its light is automated and part of a remote-control system; electricity comes from solar modules and water is stored in a cistern. Plovput lists it within Croatia’s maritime-signalling network. It is best viewed from the sea, while observing navigation conditions and a safe distance from the lighthouse station.
