The Church of St Euphemia is a useful anchor for exploring Rovinj's old town. Place it at the end of a walk through the uphill lanes to appreciate how the waterfront relates to the elevated part of the centre. The visit need not be limited to photographing the tower: look at the approaches, the building's position and the space around it. An uphill visit requires different planning from a harbour stroll.
