Ecomuseum Batana

The Batana Ecomuseum focuses on Rovinj's traditional wooden boat and maritime community rather than monumental architecture. It is a useful follow-up to a harbour walk: consider how the boat was made, how it was used and why it matters to local identity. The museum's name and UNESCO association do not make either its building or the whole town a World Heritage property. Check access to the display and any separately organised programmes before visiting. Its location on Obala Pina Budicina makes it a logical part of a waterfront itinerary.
