Rt Struga Lighthouse was built in 1839 on the headland guarding the entrance to Skrivena Luka, also known as Portorus, on Lastovo’s southern coast. It stands roughly 90 metres above the sea at the edge of a steep cliff, facing the open Adriatic. This is an operational navigational-safety facility managed by Plovput, with a permanent lighthouse service still in place. The main building has a ground floor and attic, a hipped roof, and a round stone tower set at its centre. A route through pine woodland on the northern side leads down to the sea and a small landing place, adding a coastal landscape dimension to the site’s maritime character.
