St Ann’s Chapel stands on Tepec Hill above Samobor’s Anindol park, which takes its name from the chapel. The youngest of Samobor’s Baroque churches, it was probably built in 1751 and first recorded in a canonical visitation in 1759. Ana Jelisava Auersperg, lady of Samobor Castle, commissioned it. The chapel is protected as cultural property, designation Z-1464. Since the 19th century, Anindol has been arranged as a place for walks and gatherings, with paths leading through the park; the Pyramid viewpoint rises above the chapel. The place is also associated with Marko Vukasović’s song “Kod kapele svete Ane”.
