St. Anastasia’s Church stands in central Samobor and serves one of the oldest parishes in the Archdiocese of Zagreb. The present building rose between 1671 and 1675 on the site of an earlier medieval church, and Bishop Aleksandar Ignacije Mikulić consecrated it on 8 August 1688. Its interior includes stained-glass windows from 1889, Stations of the Cross from 1896, and an organ dating to 1900. It makes a natural stop while walking through Samobor’s historic centre and is easy to locate beside the parish office on Sveta Ana Street.
