Tušćak Old Town lies near Kravljak on a ridge of the Žumberak Mountains, at roughly 600 metres above sea level. The castle was probably built in the late 12th or early 13th century, then abandoned and ruined as early as the 14th century. Archaeological and field evidence reveals the remains of two defensive towers and defensive ditches; one tower was never completed. The other served the owner and probably a small garrison, while traces of fire and former storeys suggest its earlier use. A hiking trail reaches the site, making it suited to confident walkers drawn to woodland and medieval remains.
