The Church of Saint Nicholas stands alone on a mound in the Prahulje fields outside Nin’s historic centre. Its small stone body, rounded sections and defensive crown produce a fortress-like outline. The surrounding open ground matters as much as the building: look from a distance before approaching the mound to appreciate how such a compact church makes a strong landmark. Treat it as a separate stop on the way into Nin rather than part of the short walk between churches in the old town. Leave some of the fields in your photographs to capture that setting. Bring sun protection for the exposed ground and keep to the approach path.
