Kamičak is a compact fortification in Sinj’s historic centre, set on the hill of the same name opposite the Church of the Miraculous Madonna of Sinj. Built in 1712 with a star-shaped defensive plan, it is linked to the former Kvartir military complex, now known as the Alka Knights’ Court. A neo-Baroque tower with a stone balustrade rises from its central platform; its bell is dated 1828, while the town clock was fitted to the south façade in the later nineteenth century. In 1890 the site was restored as a public lookout and park. Its walkway offers clear views across Sinj’s rooftops and the surrounding landscape.
