The Church of St. Nicholas, located on the cemetery northeast of the settlement, served as the parish church of Nerežišća until the 15th century. Its Romanesque-Gothic architecture reflects the early 14th century when the western single-nave structure was added to the facade of the existing Romanesque church. The facade is adorned with a stone rose window at its center, flanked symmetrically by two quatrefoil windows beside the entrance. The nave features a pointed vault with late-Romanesque molding at its base, while the presbytery displays a barrel vault. The church contains the grave of 14th-century Brač archpriests, marked with a Latin metrical inscription.
