Feričanci is a Slavonian village beneath the vineyards of Krndija, west of Našice, where the aristocratic legacy of the Mihalović family now meets contemporary wine tourism. The manor house, built between 1793 and 1796, has been restored as an intimate heritage hotel, while the nearby Enosophia winery continues a tradition associated with its 1804 cellar. The same destination now brings together tastings, a stud farm, carriage rides and Goveđa Glava restaurant on a vineyard slope above the village. Local Blaufränkisch is the natural culinary reference, but Feričanci offers more than wine. The 1803 parish Church of the Holy Spirit contains a protected ten-stop organ, and the historic wine cellar and granary is the sole surviving farm building of the former Orahovica–Feričanci estate. From the village, visitors can continue to the Pejačević castle in Našice or towards Orahovica and Papuk. A well-paced day combines Mihalović architecture, a guided tasting, a short vineyard ride and dinner overlooking the Goveđa Glava site.
Feričanci stretches between the Slavonian plain and the wine-growing slopes of Krndija, a transition that defines the village today. Between 1793 and 1796, the Mihalović family built its late Baroque-classicist manor near the Church of the Holy Spirit, completed in 1803. The 1804 wine cellar gives physical form to the local wine story and is now associated with Enosophia and the area’s long-established Blaufränkisch. The restored manor, Goveđa Glava restaurant and Feričanci stud farm have turned the former estate landscape into a coherent destination rather than simply a village passed on the road to Našice.

Mihalović Manor is Feričanci’s principal secular monument, a rectangular two-storey residence with a garden loggia built between 1793 and 1796. The 1803 Church of the Holy Spirit has a bell tower incorporated into its façade and contains a protected mechanical organ with ten stops, attributed to Franz Focht around 1860. At Ferićeva 63, the turn-of-the-19th-century wine cellar and granary preserves a barrel-vaulted cellar at ground level and the timber structural system of the former grain store above, making it the last surviving estate building of its type in the village.
Begin at the Church of the Holy Spirit and examine its late Baroque-classicist exterior before walking the short distance to Mihalović Manor at Ferićeva 18. Continue to the protected wine cellar and granary at Ferićeva 63, then join a pre-arranged tasting at Enosophia. In the afternoon, the Feričanci stud farm offers beginner riding and carriage trips through the local vineyards. Finish at Goveđa Glava, where the restaurant pairs Slavonian cooking with views across the vines towards the plain and the wooded Krndija slopes.
Goveđa Glava restaurant sits above Feričanci among the vineyards of the site carrying the same name and presents its menu as elevated Slavonian cuisine. This is the natural place to pair regional dishes with Enosophia’s Blaufränkisch and other estate wines. In the village, the winery at Ferićeva 16 arranges tastings and food-led experiences, while Mihalović Manor maintains an intimate wine cellar for hotel guests and private gatherings. Restaurant tables, winery tours and larger tastings are best secured directly in advance because each experience operates at a separate location within the Feričanci destination.
The Feričanci municipal office is at Trg Matije Gupca 3, and its official website carries local notices and contact details. Enosophia operates at Ferićeva 16; its 2026 listing gives retail hours of 7:00–15:00 on weekdays and 8:00–13:00 on Saturdays. The tasting room, stud farm and Goveđa Glava restaurant are separate experiences rather than attractions at one address, so arrange each appointment individually. Visits to the Church of the Holy Spirit should respect parish use, while the wellness facilities and wine cellar at Mihalović Manor primarily serve the heritage hotel.
Feričanci lies on the road corridor between Orahovica and Našice, approximately 14 kilometres west of Našice. Buses link the village with Našice, while rail departures depend on Croatian Railways’ current 2025/2026 timetable. A car is the simplest option for connecting the village centre with Goveđa Glava restaurant, the vineyards and the stud farm, which occupy separate locations. Cycling works well for shorter vineyard sections, although routes towards Krndija climb noticeably above the Slavonian plain.
Feričanci is particularly associated with Blaufränkisch, produced locally by Enosophia.
Feričanci Stud Farm offers beginner riding, carriage rides and educational activities for children and adults.
The church contains a protected ten-stop mechanical organ, probably made by Franz Focht around 1860.
The winery shop is at Ferićeva 16 in Feričanci.
