Church of St. Panteleimon

The Chapel of St Panteleimon, also known as Mirkovačka Vodica, stands outside Mirkovci beside a spring in a wooded setting. Dedicated to the Great Martyr Panteleimon, it is the focus of an annual gathering of Orthodox worshippers from Mirkovci and the surrounding area on his feast day. The Eparchy of Osijek Plain and Baranja recorded a Divine Liturgy here on 9 August 2022. Local tradition associates the spring water with healing properties, giving the site the character of a small pilgrimage destination. The chapel is reached from the Mirkovci area, away from the main D46 road, and suits visitors interested in local sacred heritage and a quiet rural landscape.
