Crkva Presvetog Trojstva

The Church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1836, is a single-nave parish church beside the main road through Kraljevec na Sutli.

About

The parish church of the Holy Trinity was built in 1836 on the site of an earlier masonry chapel and stands beside the main road through Kraljevec na Sutli. This regularly oriented single-nave building has an almost square nave and a narrower sanctuary, semicircular inside and polygonal on the exterior. Its bell tower was modelled on the former tower of Zagreb Cathedral, giving the church a distinctive silhouette. Inside are mechanical organs by Zagreb organ builder Pavao Pump, made in 1848 with ten stops, one manual and pedalboard. The church is a worthwhile stop for observing 19th-century sacred architecture in Hrvatsko zagorje.
