The Babac Lighthouse is an automated navigational aid built in 1874 on the western side of a small islet in the middle of the Pašman Channel. The 6-meter tower with a light at 7 meters above sea level has a range of 10 nautical miles and 360-degree visibility. The lighthouse serves as an important navigational aid for safe passage through the busy channel between the island of Pašman and the mainland. Since late 2019, it has been managed remotely without a permanent lighthouse keeper on site.
