The Parish Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a protected cultural property in Novigrad, recorded in Croatia’s Register of Cultural Goods as Z-2126. Built of local Novigrad stone, it follows a Latin-cross ground plan. Its Neo-style interior features Neo-Baroque decorative painting, while the main marble altar was transferred from the former parish church after that building was deconsecrated. The church safeguards a 16th-century votive statue of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows. It is also associated with a royal cloak which local tradition attributes to Queen Elizabeth during her captivity in Novigrad Fortress.
