The parish Church of the Annunciation rises above Supetar’s waterfront on an elevated terrace reached by steps. After a fire in 1729, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style; the Croatian Encyclopaedia lists it among Supetar’s monuments of 1738. A Latin inscription on the portal recalls its rebirth after the fire. The bell tower was added in 1861 and the church was enlarged in 1887. Inside are Petar Nakić’s Baroque organ from 1737, tomb slabs, and other church furnishings. Early-Christian remains beside the church include part of a geometric mosaic.
