Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known locally as Mala Gospa, dates to 1452. It stands in Tribunj’s historic core, on the peninsula beside the parish house, making it an easy stop while exploring the village’s narrow stone lanes. This is a single-nave building with a rectangular apse and protected cultural-heritage status. Restored in 2002, the small church also acquired a cultural role: the Tribunj cultural association uses it for performances, exhibitions and concerts. It is particularly rewarding for visitors who wish to combine a walk through the old town with a smaller local cultural event.
