The Museum of Krapina Neanderthals stands beside Hušnjakovo Hill, immediately next to the world-famous archaeological site. Its permanent exhibition is arranged in 18 thematic sections, following geological history and the evolution of life and humankind, with particular attention to the Krapina finds. Multimedia displays, reconstructions and interactive elements make the visit especially accessible for families with children. Marked paths lead from the museum towards the authentic Hušnjakovo site. The museum is at Šetalište Vilibalda Sluge bb in Krapina, about 50 kilometres from Zagreb; guided tours in Croatian and English require advance booking.
