Kapela sv. Petra u Petrovoj Gori
About
The Chapel of St Peter stands on a rise above the village of Petrova Gora in the Municipality of Lobor. This single-nave medieval building has a rounded sanctuary, with a sacristy added at a later date. Its main façade retains a Gothic entrance; in 1729, a bell tower supported by a substantial buttress was built alongside it. A porch was subsequently added, of which the left-hand façade opening and entrance survive, with a choir loft above. The chapel is first mentioned in 1334. It is listed in Croatia’s Register of Cultural Goods as an individually protected immovable cultural property, under designation Z-2844.
