Church of St George

The Church of the Holy Great Martyr George in Grubišno Polje belongs to the town’s Serbian Orthodox sacred heritage. The building dates from the 18th century and is also listed in cultural-heritage programme documentation for Bjelovar-Bilogora County. It is dedicated to St George, whose Croatian name is often rendered as Sveti Juraj, so different forms of the saint’s name may be encountered locally.
