Crkva sv. Mande na Marjanu

The Church of St Mande, or St Mary Magdalene, stands on the north-eastern slopes of Marjan beside Veli Varoš. Historical sources record the church under different dedications, including St Lazarus and St Mary Magdalene, reflecting the long local tradition attached to the site. Protected as cultural heritage, it belongs to the group of small Marjan churches best explored on foot. Its modest stone volume matters more in relation to the old neighbourhood and hillside than as monumental architecture.
