The present masonry monastery was built from 1675 to 1680, and the Church of St Anthony was completed in 1685, continuing a much older Franciscan presence in Koprivnica. The church has a rectangular plan, a three-sided sanctuary and a bell tower before its west front; inside are a barrel vault, a gallery carried on columns and a crypt. The Chapel of St Salvator, added on the north side in 1744–45, contains its altar of 1745. Other notable furnishings include the side altars of the Holy Trinity and St Francis and the pulpit, all dating from 1779. Earthquakes repeatedly damaged the complex, and the present monastery building followed demolition of the old section in 1923–24.
